Which season made you hate football more? Who would win in a head-to-head?

You kidding? 2012 and it isnt even close. We lost our head coach, GM, assistant coaches, and multiple players 3 years after we won the superbowl and coming off a heartbreaking post season loss. Primed to make another superbowl run in the height and peak of the talent and chemistry of Brees and Payton and the team.

Our team got gutted and scapegoated for absolutely no reason and with absolutely no evidence of any wrongdoings. And the rest of the league and Goodell laughed in our faces.

We had to watch Spags coach the defense into the ground and we had to watch the offense play without Payton. And we lost our draft picks which fricked us in the future and we had no Gm or Head Coach to discipline the players or make any changes.

2012 fricked the organization up from top to bottom and it has not been the same since.

We went from year in year out superbowl contenders building a dynasty that would be remembered forever as one of the greatest teams to step on the grid iron to a cold and unfunny joke of a team struggling to regain its time in the spotlight while it's clear that the window has passed us by.

frick Roger Goodell and the NFL and every person in the media who backed him. They fricked this franchise into the ground.

Now I'm mad just thinking about it.

ETA:

2009 Saints 13-3 Superbowl Champs - #1 Ranked Offense/ #20 Ranked defense
2010 Saints 11-5 Wildcard loss - #11 Offense/ #7 defense
2011 Saints 13-3 Divisional round loss - #2 offense/ #13 defense

Then Goodell fricked us and deserves to die for it

2012 Saints 7-9 no playoffs- #3 offense/ #32 defense
2013 - 11-5 lost divisional round loss #10 offense/ #4 defense
2014 currently - 5-8, no playoffs, #9 offense/ #30 defense.

2014 and it's not fricking close at all. At least we had an excuse of having coaches and players suspended for no reason, and picks taken away as well in 2012, which is why we sucked. This team in 2014 is just complete garbage and extremely fricking worthless.

2014

No one had high hopes for the Saints in 2012. And we had someone other than the Saints to blame for the Saints' failures.

This year we had high hopes. Many were calling us SB contenders. No outside influence to blame this year for our failures. Have to look inward.

Whose the better team though?
2012 defense was very untalented. Cam and Junior had not developed. Junior flat out stunk. Tez wilson was about as good.
2014 defense is much more likely to turn in a good game. Not that the 2012 defense didnt pull it together a few times.
2012 offense was probably a little better, although I hate to say it. Jimmy had an off year in 2012 and 2014, so push. Colston was slower in 2012 than 2014 but he was more sure handed back then and not timid.
2012 Lance moore was better than any receiver we have in 2014.
Maybe 2012 running backs even beat 2014 stable. Because Ivory was pretty hot. Pierre was a little younger. And we had freaking Sproles. Ingram was still sucking that year.
Also O line was still good. Grubbs was the only dude who struggled in 2012. Our philosophy of prioritizing interior line maybe looked a little shakey that year. But in 2014 it just looks like a mistake.

2012 was the better team. And it was obviously a much more painful season to watch. Wish wed had Parcells and Lawrence Taylor on the sideline, smh.

I read it as "which year was more disappointing to you?" Not sure if that's what OP was asking, though. 2014 is my answer.
