Angel tree gifting: who does it and how much do you spend?

I grabbed one from the office around the same age as my daughter so she could help pick out some gifts.
It says her special wish is an electronic game.
I'm thinking about a Nintendo 2DS and some clothes at the sizes listed on the card.

we got one, spent about 100-120 total.
had a 6y/o boy.
got cowboy boots, 2 DS games (scribblenauts games so slightly educational, lol), legos, remote control car, and a nerf gun.

We do it each year and spend about $100 or so. Sometimes more depending on what the child needs.
It's good to have your children involved as it teaches the importance of giving and perhaps gives your own kids some appreciation for how good they have it.

300 to 500 a year depending on family
years ago I had to go deliver toys for our company's adopted family. Life changing experience. I think God used a sledge hammer to get my attention.
