This is what is gonna happen...

AT the end of the day, if you asked me who the best 4 teams in the country are i would go
1. Bama
2. Oregon
3. Ohio STate
4. TCU
with that said, you cannot.. you just can't,at least i don't think you can, leave off an undefated ACC champ defending their natty. Plus their non conference schedule was legit and I think that's a bad precedent to set. So I think they sqeak in at 4.
Someone is gonna raped, no way around it, but I have to give the nod to the team that played a Championship game (And won by 50+ with a third string QB). And I hate OSU. I HATE osu. But thy have earned the right to be there.
I think what will happen is that you will have Bama play FSU in New Orleans.. that makes sense from a regional standpoint and you will have a traditional rose bowl in Oregon/ Ohio State
You also are guaranteed for the most part to see 2 games that the nation has been dying to see, Bama v. FSU and bama v. Oregon
it will be

Iagree with what you are saying. Ive thought to myself all year that the Big 12 best get 2 teams added quick and get back to a Championship game. They've had plenty of time to do this but the Big 12 ADs seem to just keep dicking around and now they will pay the price and have no one to blame but themselves when it is all said and done. Ohio State with the extra game and with the beat down of Wisconsin and doing this with a 3rd String QB deserves to go above TCU and Baylor IMO.

Big-12 deserves to get hosed with all their "our champion is decided on the field" crap, except when it isn't. I think the other conferences will enjoy throwing that back in their face.
BYU would love to get in the Big-12. Then find a dance partner for WVU (Cincy?) and get on with it.

assuming OSU is in, and i think they are, there is no way they don't play Oregon in the rose bowl. it's just not gonna happen.
B12 can blame Texas for all this bullshite running off the aggies and the tigers.
