Anybody else get the Tacoma recall?

Finally, after many years of hearing the squeaky leafspring, they admit the problem was there.
However, it seems you cant get it fixed unless the leafspring has a crack.
Says it could shatter and cut up fuel tank

Got mine done in 09. Replaced the leaf pack a damn added a helper leaf. Also put some cool arse Bilstein shocks all the way around for good measure.

I have a 2013 with no squeaks so far. I wonder if mine is different or just not old enough to have problems. Love the truck.

Clear coat on mine is peeling on hood and roof. Gets worse everyday

My 99 had no clearcoat. 04 did, but with all of the mud that sat on the thing 24/7/365, it never stained

My painted bumper is peeling like a mofo. But no engine problems at 105k miles so no complaints

Compounded my new truck yesterday and found out that the hood was repainted at one point in it's life. Evidently it was done at a hack shop because there are little spider cracks all over the thing that the compound filled in. It is also flaking up in spots now.
