For this race it's not about a wide margin in Louisiana, it's about winning at least 50% of the vote. Cassidy was ahead most of the night, but (as usual) Orleans parish came in and pushed Mary ahead at the end of the night.

Cassidy needs to work his arse off to appeal to the Maness camp. My belief is that many of the Cassidy votes were more votes against Mary than for Cassidy, thus they aren't going to be as hardcore about getting out to vote again in the runoff.
