At today's presser cLMmentioned trouble getting defensive calls to the field. Was peveto then and now.

Peveto wasn't at LSU in 2012.

Peeve to was at nsu in 2012 and he is special teams coordinator now.

Any backstory on why Peveto is doing special teams? Or why he was a DC?

I would kill to have the 2008 offense. It moved the ball.. We just had a huge pick 6 problem.
This defense may be in trouble, though. In 2008 the front 7 was good and the secondary was bad. It's reversed on this team in 2014.
I've been making fun of Peveto since the 1st half against Wisconsin saying him being back on staff is cursing us. Now I'm starting to believe it.
Watch what you say about him, though. He has a lot of family members here who post.

He was on the staff from 2005-2007 as well coaching special teams and linebackers. Those teams had pretty good defenses as I recall. Hmmm...
