This thread is dumb. Of course people would feel better about 5-2

I didn't ask if you would feel better about 5-2, in fact my premise would be that we were 5-4 after these two games. I asked would the collective message board be firing everyone in the organization if these two games happened after a 5-2 start to the season

You're hypothetical thread is stupid. The Saints are not 5-2 they are 0-2.

If you haven't noticed, there are chicken littles on every board of every fanbase, that's just life. But at the same time there are others who are concerned with aspects of the team play and aren't focused on just the 0-2 record.

Does the fact that Ingram was hurt change some of the "WHY the frick aren't we giving Ingram the ball every play, he's averaging 95 yards a touch, it's an automatic win if we just give him the ball? Sean Payton is too arrogant to run" crowd noise?

no not at all. PT and Robinson are more than capable.

So that is why he didn't get carries against ATL or in the 1st half vs. the Browns?

at one point in the game yesterday

MI averaged over 6 YPC
Khiry averaged over 6 YPC
Thomas averaged 5 YPC

Drew averaged 1.3 Yards Per Attempt at the same point

When we were 5 wide on 1st and 10 and threw the int, Ingram was averaging 18 ypc

While Ingram has been great, PT is more than capable of doing the job as is Robinson

Both games we gave the other team 3 free points too....can't do that on the road in the NFL

stop with your logic. If we just handoff on every play we win. The Saints are a running team. The fact that we were running the ball so well has nothing to do with the threats our passing game provides.

No one has said that. You're creating arguments to make yourself feel better. Sean Payton himself has admitted that abandoning the run is a weakness of his

And no one is disagreeing that the defense shite the bed either. People are saying that we should have run the ball more on the road when we were gashing them. I'm sorry that you believe that is illogical.

Continue to suck your own retarded dick

I don't think running the ball more is illogical. I think wanting to fire the organization because we passed instead of ran a few times is illogical
