My idea for fair college football scheduling

For the Power 5 conferences, make it completely random. Nine conference games, two out of conference games against other power 5 conferences, one out of conference game against a non-power 5 conference. Do each group lottery style. Put the balls in the machine with the teams names on them and go. Yes, it would take some tinkering to eliminate and not duplicate, but I'm sure it could be done.
Imo, this would end the complaining of scheduling bias and intentionally weak scheduling. It would eliminate some yearly, traditional rivalries, but that's the price you'd pay for it being fair to all.

This is a school extra-curricular activity. Play whomever you want to play; we're smart enough to judge them against other teams and have their schedules be a factor in that judgment.
