Do you think any of the guys will be able to fill those shoes this year? I'm excited & how, do you think the team will do this season? Honest opinions.... I believe our first will be an easy W.

Some WR will step up and produce. Jarvis and Odell were so good at what they did last year and stayed healthy for the most part that you didn't have to involve other WR's in the offense. Most years LSU does spread the production around more anyway and I think you will see that this year with the inexperience. Someone will have to take the bull by the horns to have the production those 2 had last year and maybe the TE's will finally get involved. Watching the 2007 national title game, you can see what utilizing Dickson did that year for that team especially that game.

Nobody will fill Jarvis' IMO.

Maybe OBJ.

Jarvis was so underrated to me... I feel as though people gave more credit to Odell than him, both great at what they do

It will be difficult to replace someone who could do this:

Well there are multiple threads on predictions. Any where from 5-0 losses. And no, no one will fill those shoes. I mean we won't throw it enough to have TWO 1k yard receivers. No way no how. Now can someone put up their true frosh numbers? Well yeah, dupre or Quinn could easily do that. Chark could be good on special teams.

Agreed. All we need is reliability from a couple of guys in the receiving corps. The backs and T.E.'s will have more chances this year with the probability of more short range passes.

This year, probably not. But remember, Odell and Jarvis were inconsistent (though showed flashes of greatness) early on.

Just recall the meltdown over WR's catching the ball from early 2012.

I think we see steady improvement this year in the WR's, with them quite good by November. Next year could be special.

Yeah, Jarvis would make those jaw-dropping grabs that would normally be incomplete or intercepted. I'm sure we will have guys who make the catches they are supposed to make but to find somebody who makes catches on bad passes/great coverage the way Jarvis would is going to be tough.
