Tried searching for this but nothing came up, hopefully it hasn't been asked before.

Does anyone have any experience with using analog grips for XBOX or PS4 controllers? If you have a PS4, I'm sure I'm not the only one running into the issue with the rubber of the left analog stick tearing off. The rubber is now 1/4 less than it's original state after I pulled off the tearing pieces last night. Does anyone have a review or preference of an analog grip? I know there are a few out there, but just trying to determine which would be best. I've seen pretty good reviews for the "GriP-iT" brand, so thinking that may be a good solution. Anyone use them before??

I went to Gamestop and picked up some stick grips for like $7. They aren't Kontrol Freek good, but they are better than the ripped rubber sticks from the PS4.

I heard that Gamestop had the KontrolFreek brand, but heard that those were raised quite a bit. Was that an issue when using them? Not sure I would like a grip that didn't fit snug and tight.

The ones I have are raised a bit but it's not enough to be a noticeable difference/annoyance. They fit extremely snug to the analog sticks. Almost like a condom type.

Grips for controllers? Cripes. Put the controller down once in a while, man.

The analog sticks on the PS4 are extremely pathetic. They rip with relative ease. in just two weeks of playing NBA 2K/UFC the rubber on my analog sticks have ripped. So I purchased these:

Gel Tabz

At my local gamestop and I have had no problems since. They are comfortable and now I don't have to worry about shite ripping.

That was the other brand I was going to take a look at. Gamestop sells these as well?? Was only worried about the gel feeling a lot diffrent than the regular rubber style.

It does feel different, but you get used to it within the first hour of gaming.

I bought some Grip Its just now. Hopefully they work. All 4 of my ps4 controllers left sticks rubbed off. So strange

Yea my right stick is fine, lol. It seems to only be the left one for a lot of people.

The left stick ripped because of NBA 2K and the dribble moves. My right analog stick got fricked up because of MLB The Show (analog swing) and UFC (transition moves)
