I've been doing some research trying to decide which laptop tablet to get. I'm leaning towards the asus mainly because it's $100 cheaper and comes with a key board.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with either of these and can provide their opinion? Thanks

What are you using it for? If it's simply to watch netflix and check email, then the Asus will be fine. If you plan to work on it, the Surface may have more functionality.

For the record, I have an Asus tablet and use it a good bit. But if I do anything more than email, netflix, or reddit... I break out my laptop. My android tablet won't be a laptop replacement for me any time soon b/c I need windows to work. Admittedly I very limited experience with Windows RT.

It's going to be mainly for work. I'm a real estate agent and really need a tablet and was originally going to get an iPad but also a new laptop so I thought I'd start researching these.

They just announced the Surface pro 3... If it were me, I'd hold out until that is available and go with the i7 version. I'm not exactly sure how you're intending on using it though. Do you have apps or just planing to use Office suite?

I started a thread about the Thinkpad Yoga last week. Seriously look into it. After looking at all 2-in-1s, it was the clear winner, and supported by the TB fully. I will be getting one when the funds allow
