Why is it so difficult for you to accept that fact that CFB has evolved?

Why is it sooooo difficult for you to grasp that this isn't always feasible?

I just know that Alleva sits in his secret lair conjuring up ways to make the home schedule OOC incrementally less intriguing every year. All in the name of pissing off tickfawtiger.

Nope....just looking for ONE decent HOME ooc game per year...why is that sooooo difficult for you two to grasp

Is this not a "discussion" board....moron, your opinion does not supersede all others !
The COMBINATION, of LSU "selling" ALL of the most recent OOC contests to neutral sites, has RESULTED in the recent home OOC atrocity of scheduling...how can you be so dense to not recognize it ?

Uh... OK?

All of them? Really? Go ahead and list all the home and homes we've "sold".

Oh, and no it hasn't. Teams not wanting to travel all the way to Baton Rouge to get their shite stuffed when they could fill that slot with a gimme is why this is happening. Open your eyes and look at other major programs on our level. The same things are happening everywhere. CFB is evolving. If you don't like it, you can find something else to occupy your time with... Well, maybe not in Killian, La... But you get my drift.

How about a lower level BCS conference member...one that might consider a 2 for 1 arrangement...like an Ind.,Ill,Baylor,Iowa st.,TCU,Cen. FL,USF,Maryland...seems there might be more than a few "up and comers" OR former "players" that might be candidates.

If it was like that, why hasn't anyone else scheduled 2 for 1's with teams like that?
UCF is actually playing a neutral site game with PSU this year...in Ireland

IF ya'll are 100% correct and all LSU can get for home ooc OR home/away games are these FCS and other "bribery" type opponents....HOW could one explain the stated reluctance to go with a 9 game conference slate ? At least with that schedule one could look forward to ONE additional good game, every other year ! MUCH better than 3 crap ooc each year going forward.

Because LSU makes a ton of money by playing the house of the blind and doesn't want to lose that money.
I'm all for the 9 conference games

Cuse fan here. Hey I'm all for a home and home in Hoops too. I only live 7 hours from BR.
Anyways, late September is a very good time to visit. We usually have our first cool weather of the seaason come through about that time. The leaves in the higher elevations are nearing peak too.
For flying: The Good news is Jet Blue serves both New Orleans and Syracuse. That means all airlines between NOLA and Cuse will have pretty competitive airfare. If any of you are avid fishermen I highly recommend staying 30 minutes north of Syracuse in Pulaski. It is the Salmon Capital of the East. Other things to do: Baseball Hall of Fame, Finger Lakes Wine Tasting Tours, Leaf Peeping in the Adirondacks, 1000 Islands and if you have a Passport a run into Canada (Niagara Falls or Kingston). If it is a rainy day Syracuse has one of the biggest Entertainment/Shopping Malls in the country.
Syracuse Tailgate and Gameday Info
Finally, if you have the time and money a visit to NYC is awesome. You can take a train from midtown NYC to Syracuse as an option.

Yup, that's it. I'll be coming in from Lower Bucks myself. PA NE Extension to 81N. 4 hours for me. It's even closer than the WVU game.
