Very good game tonight and has looked like our best center lately

Monty won't listen though

I think Ajinca has made a case for himself in certain matchups, but we do know that Withey would be the only one capable of finishing a game he started.

Per 36 Pts/Reb/Blk/Foul

Stiemsma 5.5/8.1/2/6.2
Ajinca 11.2/10.7/1.7/7.0
Withey 9.1/8.4/2.4/4.0

Ajincas numbers look better but withey blocks more shots and doesn't foul nearly as much.

Neither does what we need them to do (yet). But Ajinca has proven he can be our Aaron Gray and match up well against the other lumbering bigs that can't move well.

Yeah that's why I hope we can get a gortat or even a koufos

Ajinca is a more than adequate back up 5 on a dirt cheap contract.

Withey could probably play both the 4/5 off the bench.

Why do you say Ajincas numbers look better? Looks to me like only one of them would be able to play 36 min. Can't get 7 fouls bro

Honestly, I really do hope Monty moves Withey into the starting lineup soon. He has been getting more PT and really kind of outplaying the other guys. He's a 24 year old rookie. Let's see what he can do in that situation. The way he has been playing, it's not going to greatly affect w/l, but it can give us some important information going into free agency.

I don't think he is going to be your #1 center of the future, but injuries happen. It would be nice to know if he can do it.

The fouls are certainly a problem, but I really don't want any of those guys playing close to 36 minutes with any regularity.

But he probably isn't going to play remotely near that anyway so the fouls are moot.

Those could easily go down as he completely readjusts to the nba game after a couple of years away.

A double double with almost 2 blocks is pretty damn good.

no doubt... just making my statement based on the numbers as they are today. Withey has less overall time in the game and the numbers are better on that end.

regardless, I really hope we have something serviceable with one of these two.
