Monitoring the website for the last year and I got to thinking...

Why does PSA offer so many blemished products?

Do they have ridiculously high quality control standards or is their manufacturer garbage?

How much are they discounted? I've honestly never seen that before.

I bought a blemished lower from them. It had a very small chip in the finish (less than 2mm) on the mag well. I'm very happy with it as I couldn't find any other problems. I guess they just have very strict quality control.

By the way it was a complete lower with Magpul furniture for $180 if I remember correctly. Bought it in November.

I've bought 3 blemished lowers from them, used one, gave one to brother, holding the other right now waiting for more cheap parts. No marks/scratches on any of the three. For the one I used, I would say that it shows fingerprints/handling easier than other ARs I've messed with. Works fine

Some show minor chips in the paint other show overspray in the paint. 100% functional and very affordable. I think they have some now for 59.99. I assume they are just quality control rejects as you mentioned.

I own a PSA AR. I just think it's funny.
