a) dude oozes douche
b) political rhetoric
c) instead of class warfare, he is waging generational warfare
d) his revolutionary ideas are cutting taxes, repealing Obamacare, and balancing the budget. blah blah blah
e) if that's the best we got, we be screwed

He's sure got a lot of teeth.

I am going to be so pissed if that idiot manages to win. I don't think he can. What an ego.

I didn't watch the video because I don't care.
But, I am assuming that he must not have said anything about legalizing pot ... otherwise, he'd be more popular on here.

Wow... a bunch of mad in this thread. He said all the right things for conservatives so that explains the hate...

Can't you stay on your parent's health insurance until you are 26? A year removed from that, he is prepared to lead because he is able to articulate conservative values like he read them in a book?

Having flashbacks to Billy Tauzin, III running for his daddy's and grandpaw's old Congressional seat. Lots of entitlement mentality from him.
ETA: Now...I could be wrong about Dietzel. Never met him in person. Did meet Billy, III when he was running. Guess I'm just not a fan of these daddy to son politician things. In Dietzel's favor, at least it's not a direct hand me down of a seat like Tauzin, Cravins, and others have done.

Or he can be naive enough to think he can make a difference which is waaay better than what is up there now.
ETA: I understand the dietzel name carries some weight in baton rouge but not part of the political hack that the Tauzin name carried which there is a huge difference.

Anybody willing to step up and tell the truth has a shot. This guy has the 'look', defines the issues that affect his generation and offers the only way that those issues can be addressed.
He'll get the Christians, old folk and working class too. Strong candidate.
Who is his competition? Better be good. Hard to beat the fresh look of youth.

Dan Claitor appears to be the only plausible alternative at the present time. Dietzel will camp out at the conservative end of the spectrum, and Claitor will place himself at the moderate conservative position. At this point I suspect that it will either be Dietzel or Claitor.

I don't think that's fair. He's actually ran a successful small business in his young age. He's speaking from experience

It's a sad, sad, day when grown adults think of this as negatives.

I interacted with him a bit in undergrad. Always seemed like a decent guy.
