Like several years ago. Can't really remember what year but all I remember was snow then the next day the sounds of limbs going through my neighbors houses. Buddy of mine lived in the Goodwood area and the tree damage in that hood was unreal.

I don't want to lose power. Hopefully it just snows enough to close shite down around here. I want a free day.

This. See my post here regarding the conflicting forecasts. National forecasts have 0% chance but all the local forecasters are saying we will see at least some snow. Your guess is as good as anyone's right now.

really because during the event I'm talking about there were deaths in town from trees falling through peoples houses and I believe one killed a dude in his car.

I was simply pointing out that that concern was already discussed. I wasn't trying to jijack your thread.

Was it the one around Christmas about 6 or 7 years back?

Meauxjeaux2, this is what I am seeing, I am guessing I will be driving in the crap coming in. I haven't heard of it making it all the way to BR.

Its crazy how two years removed makes me laugh. We don't get a lot of snow up here but we get a decent amount. I drove my usual speed limit on a sheet of ice this morning. It was a lot of fun except for going down steep hills.

yeh I don't remember any of that...not saying it didn't happen (on a small scale) but when I think of ice events i think of major power outages and trees down all over. Lake Charles had one a while back
