If you could be guranteed a 10+ win season for every year for the next 10 years, but also you could not have a NC in those 10 years, would you take it?

Why hell no. For one thing, 10 wins doesn't equate to sec championships. South Carolina has won 11 games each of the last 3 years and has zero. It's all about the NC, senator.
