Let's say a man owes his ex $60,000 over 6 years, in monthly payments.

The man develops a plot/gamble. He knows the woman relies on these monthly payments to a large extent for her livelihood.

So, he withholds payment until she feels desperate for the money, then offers a lump sum that circumvents the courts--$10,000.

How would you advise the woman?

I know someone that is currently paying out 300k a year for the next 8 years in spousal support.

Pussy ,the wonder drug, has ruined empires over the course of time.

The woman? I'd advise the man to do exactly what the court said to do. Judges do not like to be disregarded. Penalties and interests will be applied to the payout. Possibly punitive damage if it can be proven he intentionally didn't pay. I would think wages would be garnished moving forward adding additional cost.

60 grand over 6 years is cheap.

I would tell the woman to sue his cheap arse. I would tell the guy not to get any more bitches pregnant. Vasectomy!

There is no reason to "sue". She already has a judgement. The deadbeat husband is playing fire by not following court instructions.

Alimony has frick all to to with procreation. The term you are looking for is child support.

somebody needs to start writing some checks.

60k over 6 years only seems high since you, errr your friend, has skipped out on paying.

hopefully child support hasn't been skipped, too.

yall give Dads/ men a bad name.

He's violating a court order- it will come back to bite him. Hopefully he'll be put in jail until he catches up
