In this ESPN article LSU players express having no fear when it comes to Bama. LSU players may feel as though this is really just another game, don't know how much of that is true. I do know what is undeniable that this game means a great deal to millions of college fans across America who have long felt cheated by a rigged BCS system, many of whom would likely geaux crazy for LSU if LSU can somehow take down the no1. Crimson Tide.

LSU players can make this the kind of game and kind of win that college fans everywhere never forget. If LSU is up to the challenge they might find themselves no1 in the hearts of most college fans for a very long time. Yes, it does means that much to them. Lets do this Tigers, lets win over a bunch more Tiger fans.

Alabama isn't quite the red team to the Tigers, but it is just Saturday's team. As quarterback Zach Mettenberger put it, Alabama is "nameless and faceless" like everyone else on LSU's schedule.

lm never mentions michigans main rival.
I wish we at lsu never mention our main rival.

nameless and faceless

To be honest, I don't really give a frick about them winning over tons of college fans or not. (Except for top recruits of course).

I just love to watch the Tigers play. And I love to watch them play against good teams. And I really love to watch them play well against good teams. And I really really love to watch them win against good teams.

Well let me be honest, I do give a frick about winning over millions of college football fans. It feels great to be loved that much, ask any LSU baseball fan who's been to Omaha.

Under Miles LSU seems to play harder against Bama than any other team. I think the players get up for the game. It's only natural to want to knock off #1.

This - would be shocked if LSU doesn't play Bama extremely hard. Can't wait.

We may have a shot, miles always has the tigers playing their best when there is nothing left to play for but a chicken sandwich

Wish this would've been true in the BCS NC game. After the Ole Miss game this year, Miles can win back many fans with a win against Bama. But like Gump said about his chocolate,"you never know what ya going to get".

This game year in and year out is really anyone's game. Two teams that always put their most into it, particularly against each other. I'm a gambling man, but I never take bets on Alabama vs. LSU.
