Have gone over and tried out any of Black Abbey's stuff? I stopped in maybe a month ago and got a sampler. One was good, one was decent, and the other two were meh to pass. They have a huge brewery for their small output. I did see a whole bunch of barrels laying around labelled with their farmhouse, so that's a good sign.

I've only had one and I found it to be really, really good. It was their coffee porter. I've yet to find their stuff consistently around Nashville though. I'm assuming you've had some of Yazoo's offerings, but have you tried Fat Bottom, Jackalope or Jubilee?

Go into The Filling Station (Growler fills and bottles to go) on 12 South (By Burger Up and Edley's BBQ) or Craft Brewed (on 8th) to sample some stuff.

ETA: Craft Brewed gets tons of stuff (periodically) that Tennessee doesn't normally get - Deschutes, Great Lakes, Big Sky, Black Raven, Rocky Coast etc. Just depends what they have that day. Usually it's only on tap, so you'll have to drink there or bring/buy a growler if you want to get it to go.

Had plenty of Yazoo, Fat Bottom, and Jackelope and am a big fan of the Filling Station. My folks live just the other side of Lipscomb.

I'll have to check out Craft Brewed at Christmas. I think that's where my Dad told me to go last time. The town sure has changed in the 10 years I've been gone.
