Heard every year some doctor puts on a huge Halloween exhibit/haunted house/whatever and last year Monty (being the big wacky hardcore Christian that he is) went and asked the guy to take everything down and made it into a big deal.
Also heard that his daughter (who is good) was trying out for a traveling softball team and (per usual) with those teams you have to make every practice, game, etc. Well she made it known that she couldn't and come cut down day she didn't make the team. Apparently Monty went out there and confronted the coach who explained the reasoning and Monty got all mad ("Don't call me coach") and cried racism, etc.

Not exactly.
It was a large ghost/wreath/lawn ornament type thing. He said he and his family found it offensive. The wife who answered the door politely told him to kick rocks.
I haven't heard the softball story, but wouldn't shock me.
Monty is a weird dude, but if he can coach us to a winning record IDGAF how kooky/crappy neighbor he is.

Yea I have heard some goofy stories as well that but won't elaborate. I assumed this is why he moved but surprised to hear that it wasn't farther away. For the most part, everyone is pretty much the same around these parts.

You just never know who reads this board. Its nothing earth shattering. Just very different personality traits. Things that happened that we would all think as completely normal that weren't so normal to Monty.
Like someone said in an earlier post, none of it matter and who cares if he wins. However, if he doesn't, his personality would be a great fit for a team in a state like say...... Utah.
