Trading Brees - 12 Team Standard - Should I take this?

My Roster:
Brees / Schaub
V Jax
Edelman / Amendola
Spiller / F Jax
McFadden / Jennings
Julius Thomas / H Miller
FLex: F Jax, Mendenhall, D Moore, T Austin
K Prater

His:
Luck
B Marsh

He offered me Luck and B Marsh for my Brees and V Jax.
With Amendola getting healthy, I might be able to have a good WR corps with Marshall and Amendola / Edelman (when Danny A is hurt). Luck is a top 10 QB, so I wont be losing tons of points on the QB end. V Jax is in a dumpster fire of a team and has failed to produce except for 1 week. I need someone with huge game ability somewhere other than QB.
I am 1-3 and getting desperate

I wouldn't do it. You could get more for trading Brees. In a standard league at years end VJax won't be as far removed from Bmarsh as Luck will be from Brees. Luck is on a run first team now. They want to play Power football every chance they get now w Trich. VJax will be fine once Glennon gets a couple games under his belt. Dude has a huge arm and that plays right into VJax down field strengths. Personally I wouldn't do it.

Then me personally I wouldn't do it. I'd stand pat w Brees. The games that Marshall gets you 20 in standard are far less than the games Brees will get you 40 compared to lucks 20

Yeah trade Def gets better then. Edelman and DA don't have as much value in Standard leagues. The upgrade from them to Bmarsh in standard maybe worth it in that case.
