I picked up the game this morning, but I'm at work now, so I haven't had the chance to play yet, but my buddy said the first time he was able to cycle through characters, Michael and his wife were just leaving a store, and Trevor was lying down in the middle of the woods with no shirt on.

Haven't gotten Trevor. First I could switch to Michael was after I slammed into the dealership.
