To be fair, he needs to work on coverage. Tayvon Austun is wearing his arse out.

Is he a big star yet to the fans in Arizona? By that I mean are the fans ecstatic about him in Arizona as the LSU fans are about him?

Thank you for your responses.

(Didnt he just blow open field coverage?)

Pre-snap Tyrann was covering the slot and TE who caught the pass covered by LB. Tyrann left his man to make the play.

he would get his arse kicked in "Seal training" .

I'm still trying to figure out how this is in any way relevant to the situation.

t, it is too bad young people could not experience life in the 40s, 50s and 60s
that would have been a great time for a young black man like Tyrann. I'm sure his grandparents feel the same way.

It looked like he was in purple and gold. It made me proud.

Lol. This whole thread devolved into one large troll by many different people. Well done, fricktards.

Yea that's what I thought I read. He covered his guy and just said "oh hell no" and chased down the receiver and made a play that looked like a video game or cartoon. Just wow.

If you look again you will see I apologized and stated it was from habit, I do not expect an apology for you forgetting that

From USA Today: "His autograph is one of the bigger catches at camp. Every day at University of Phoenix Stadium, fans are screaming his name with unbridled support. They're cheering "Honey Badger!" over and over."

And that was just as camp...

Yeah, you would know...

Kidding...getting Ws is the bottom line, but it was still an exciting play.

No, he didn't blow the coverage on that play. He, actually, came off coverage on another player to get in on the caused fumble.

And blew past a teammate who didn't quite give the same effort Tyrann did.

I guarantee you that will be a major topic of discussion in meetings this week at Cardinals camp.

That's why we beg recruits to come here? Because it's a privilege? For us, or for them?

Tyrann Mathieu had one BCS school scholarship offer - LSU. Nobody was begging TM to go to their school (well, maybe FIU, Tulane or Southern Methodist...a few of the other giants that recruited him). Frank Wilson, who recruited him at LSU, couldn't even get Tennessee to look at him because of his size before Wilson left Tennessee. And we know what state Tennessee's football program has been in recently.

So in Mathieu's case, it was an absolute privlege to play in Tiger Stadium because no one else was knocking down his door. He was only a 3-star recruit and everybody felt he was too small. LSU usually goes after the perceived cream of the crop.

It's even a privilege for the top recruits. Yes, LSU obviously benefits too, but you never know how someone will pan out. Sometimes you can be great and still get passed over on a scholarship offer because a coach has other needs or doesn't evaluate you properly.
