All we heard all offseason was how Pocic was going to end up starting at center, and Porter quietly quarterbacked the O line in a great performance especially in pass protection. A true thing of beauty. For some reason, the media chose him as the face of the ugliness of grey shirting a couple of years ago and now here he is as a starter. Great story.

Big fan of Porter. Media made him out to be a scapegoat in a bashing attempt of Miles.

Mett had all kind of time, and we gained nearly 200 yards rushing against a stingy defense that was stacking the box, without our best RB. I'd say that the OL was pretty impressive. And don't think we had any holding or false start penalties.

We had 2 or 3 false starts...no holding calls.

Sorry, I MIGHT have been drinking during part of the game and missed those. In any case, the penalties seemed less noticeable than some other games. That is, except for the ones the refs didn't call on their DB's and OL for grabbing our players by the jersey repeatedly.
