Trail cameras. How often do you check them?

Or how often is to often?
Obviously a new bait site may take longer to get a good idea of what's coming around, especially mature bucks. In those instances ill put one out a month before I decide if its worth sticking with it and hanging a stand.
Put 2 cams out last Sunday and I'm itching to check them. Cant fish the next two days cause ill have my 3 yr old with me but damn I'd love to load the bike up and go see what's growing

I still have 2 hanging from last season that I left out

I would leave them a couple weeks if you can

The longer ya leave em and don't disturb the area, the better. Isn't always easy though!
ETA: We leave ours at least 2 weeks

I try to make it a week without checking. But the urge is intense

I end up checking them every trip during the season, but during the summer I try to leave them for at least a month. One of my honey holes is in the trail though, so I don't disturb much getting in there

May go check two of them tomorrow that I can slip in and out to real easily.

Not as often as I would like, about once a month because that's how often we make it down there during the summer months. Thought about getting one of those cams that can email you the pictures but not sure it would work down there with internet/phone service being spotty at best anywhere not within wireless range of the house.

Before hunting season: biweekly
During hunting season: whenever I hunt that location, or someone else does. So it can range from every 2 days to a week.

I check twice a week to determine what is there during the summer. Once determined once every two weeks.
