Jabari Greer will give New Orleanians another look at his creative side Monday as he co-hosts “Jazz from the French Market,” a show on WWOZ-90.7 from 4 p.m. to 7pm.

“I remember the day that I signed (with New Orleans), it was a Wednesday. That night a good friend of mine took me to Frenchmen Street and I remember the life of the music on Frenchmen Street, it was incredible. I looked to him and said, ‘is this a Wednesday? This is a Wednesday night in which this is happening?’” Greer said. “I remember when I was in Buffalo, I would search weeks ahead of time for any live music events that were happening, and now living in New Orleans, all you have to do is go down the street.

Sounds like he really likes being in New Orleans and glad he's taking part in the community. I think he gets more grief than he should from the fans as he's been one of our more consistent CBs the past five years.
