With both teams coming from the losers bracket, who will be home team? Is it decided by a coin toss? Hoping our Tigers get to be the home team! Either way ready for a great game!

prolly the highest seeded team, or else they have flipped a coin following vandy's game.

How do you explain today and yesterday's games?

Think the flip a coin , vandy won the flip

Vanderbilt won the coin toss. Higher seed means nothing. Vanderbilt is the home team

You very well could be right…this was taken from the SEC Tournament website.
Website also said after LSU won but before the Vandy/MSU game started that if we played MSU we would be home.…guess this means we won the toss????

On Tuesday and Wednesday the higher seed is the home team. Thursday-Sunday, the home teams will be announced each morning by the SEC Office. The home team will sit in the first base dugout.

Which is retarded. Why let a coin flip decide this slight advantage?

Home team is determined based on which team has been the home team a lesser percent of the time in previous games.
LSU was the visitor today vs. Arkansas because LSU had been home 2 times and visitor 1 time in the tournament (66.7%) and Arkansas had been home 1 time and visitor 1 time (50%).
Miss. St. was the home team vs Vandy today because Vandy had been home 2 times and visitor 1 time, while State had been home 1 time and visitor 2 times.
At the conclusion of play today, LSU, Vandy, and Miss. St. have all been home 2 times and visitor 2 times....therefore, I think there must have been a coin flip at some point today to determine both possible scenarios for tomorrow.

It's based on who has been home team the least amount of times. In case that's equal, there's a coin flip.

I know how they determine it so you didn't need to type that out. I was telling that guy look at today and yesterday's game and say the higher seed is the home team.
