Judging from the last article with sims, he's convinced he and Robinson are going to the same school

maybe he thinks that, maybe him and Robinson have discussed it but it is my understanding that Sims does not have a committable offer from Alabama at this time and he doesn't have an offer from LSU. Come NSD if he he is not a take for either does he or anyone else think Robinson will go where Sims does?

I hope Sims gets left out in the cold.

All Alabama is saying is if we don't get anybody better than you in the end we will offer. Alabama is playing on Sims emotions.

They might end up at the same school. If that happens it's because that's where both individuals want to go. It's not a package deal.

somehow Alabama is better at showing recruits love when they don't have offers and making them feel like they could commit. End of the day, Sims does not currently have an offer from either Bama or LSU so I have no idea why he is talking up one school over the other. He should maybe focus on schools who've offered him, instead of talking about package deals and who he wants to go to college with...good player, needs to get his head out of his arse soon or he will end up disappointed.

It doesnt matter, Alabama offered him it just wasnt a committable offer, so they will offer him soon because they dont want Hootie or Robinson to slip away.

I agree with you Alabama is good at that.

I agree and It seems certain that Robinson will wind up at either LSU or Alabama. At this time Sims doesn't have an offer from LSU and a non committable one from Bama so it sounds like he has work to do and it would not surprise me at all if he did wind up at one of those 2, but I don't think either LSU or Bama would or should take Sims just to get Robinson. If they don't like Sims for whatever reason, they won't offer. In the end I don't think that will cost you Robinson.

wut?

How do you offer someone a non-commitable offer? I mean I get what you're trying to say. But it's like offering someone the air they breath...it means nothing. Offer me a non-commitable offer and I'd be like "thanks, I guess...I'm exactly where I was before" not like "ok cool now imma try and deliver all my friends here for you"

Maybe conditional offer would be a better way to phrase it. I think it basically means they are interested, but either he would have to show improvement in some areas or they don't get some guys higher on their board before they take you into the class. They are recruiting you, but are not willing to take you into the class just yet in other words. Most if not all schools will do this to some extent. I think you have to be more careful about this practice with instate guys.

This is a perfect way to put it.

oh I understand the concept of the conditional offer, H-Town. Just saying, if that is all I had from a school I wouldn't exactly be knighting for all my buddies to come with me. Unless I was being told that I could commit if they came with me or something like that.

That's why I say that Nick is playing on this kids emotions. He either has to get the other guys or improve his skills. At LSU he just has to improve his skills.

If Robinson chooses to go elsewhere, he will miss out on the greatest offense in the SEC--his loss.
