Is this a good deal on a bow?

Co-worker of mine is trying to sell me a Bowtech Assassin rigged out for $450. I shot it a couple of times and was stacking them pretty good. Is this a good deal for this bow? It has never really been shot and is 1 year old.

Depends on the year. Bowtech is a quality bow. I shoot Mathews but I am starting to realize that I can get a quality bow for much less these days. I like bowtech.
If you are hunting Louisiana I suggest a ten point Titan Extreme. 599 dollars and you can not miss with it

Double check what a new one cost, I think the assain is a RTS bow (Ready to shoot) so it comes with sight, rest, etc. installed. I want to say their around $500 new. If he has a bunch of other gear with it (broadheads, arrows, release, etc.) its a good deal! Check ebay too, I got my Bowtech Invasion for $800 rigged out with a ton of accessories. Brank new it was over $900 for just the bow!

Fairly certain you can get a rigged assassin for 500ish brand new.

According to what rigged out means. If its cheap accessories then prob not that great of a deal. The likelihood that his bow fits you would be very slim IMO. Bowtech makes great bows. I switched from Mathews to Bowtech and never looked back.
