We have five.

4 teams have double digit picks apiece.

ETA: San Fran with 14.

might wanna trade down in the first round... acquire a few more picks.

I wouldn't be against it.

I just don't understand this.

That team is already elite.

If I were San Fran I would unload these and have 4-5 picks in the first 3 rounds.

If I were San Fran I would train all 14 picks to deal blackjack cuz they're never gonna win it all with Little Kaeperhorn at QB

The two teams that played in the Super Bowl have the most picks.

I would, as I've posted before:

Screw that noise. This draft has some game changers on defense and we need to get one. They usually only come around evey 2 or 3 years.

We need a Von Miller, JJ Watts, Jason Pierre-Paul, DeMarcus Ware (guys in the top or middle of the 1st round) not a Cameron Heyward, Jerry Hughes, Peria Jerry or Lawrence Jackson (guys you get at the end of the 1st round)

I have 5 guys pegged that they would take over trading down-

Dion Jordan
Jarvis Jones
Mingo
Ansah
Lotulelei

The top 3 LTs would be there but I'm counting that as 0% happening. Warmack or Cooper might be great for value but there's no position of less need on the Saints.

Outside of those a trade back could make a lot of sense if there would be a willing partner.

not having a second rounder AGAIN is going to suck.

finding a game changer at #15 won't be easy. Our best chance to get one would be if the two guards went before we picked to help some guys fall. But a guard hasn't gone in the top 15 since 1997. Having a QB or maybe even two go before us would also help. Arizona and Buffalo both need one.

that is a lot of "what ifs" in there. I'm not rooting for us to trade down but in the event we did, I wouldn't be disappointed. Better to do that then waste a first rounder on a WR when we need help on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

If one of the outside backers is there like Jones or Mingo, fine. Same thing goes with Lane Johnson, I guess. But that isn't always a guarantee. What would stop another team from jumping up to get one of those guys? There are some teams who are loaded with picks who have the kind of ammo to make those deals. Baltimore would actually be one of those. They have lost some significant players already. But I guess we should see how the rest of free agency shakes out first.

I think/hope that one of those eight guys (including the 3 LTs) should make it to us.

I think that's the pick we gave up for LB Dan Morgan.

that was for two weeks of nothing from Barrett Ruud. He did go on to play 9 games for the Texans after Cushing went down. Sumpin tells me this was a factor in Spags failure and firing.

My bad. I was thinking Morgan, but it didn't sound right and I couldn't remember the other guy's (Rudd) name.
