Wife got me Paul Dietzel's book autographed with a personal message to me about coaching and the impact of coaches on players' lives. Pics when I get back from honeymoon. She is already getting onto me for being on TD while on our honeymoon!

My Paul Dietzel moment: I saw him the day the LSU BOS voted to fire him. The mtg was at LSUA because the mtg rotated to the different campuses so I was able to attend. Congrats on your marriage!

1. Why are you on TD on your honeymoon? There's other things to do. And I'm sure some of the rantards will try and fill in.

3. Dietzel left to go to West Point. BOS did not fire him from HC.

Paul Deitzel was most assuredly not fired from LSU. LSU begged him to stay and not take the job at West Point, which he ended up doing anyways. Nice attempt at making up a story though.

You people call yourselves LSU fans. Paul Dietzel served as athletic director from 1978-82. I believe he was either fired or forced to resign from than position. C'mon people get it together.
