I could see Texas going after him hard but 4 years is a long wait for Texas

He will be either in the NFL or the top available college job at the time.

I personally think he will succeed in the NFL

I think his next job will be in the SEC or Big 12. Not sure if his experiment with the Eagles fails how sought after he will be. But his college success will generate interest. See Saban.

I think the NFL fits his personality more. It was one thing to recruit with the built-in advantages of Nike and Oregon, I don't think he can go head to head in the home with the likes of Saban and Miles and Sumlin and the like. And I'm not sure he's got the politician in him to be the HC at Texas. Again, just doesn't seem to fit his personality.

I think he's a fit in the NFL, and I think he'll still be there 10 years from now. If the system he runs now doesn't work, he's smart enough to figure out how to adapt. And I think he will.
