Up to date on the 46 current episodes.
I have seen the announcement about the final season starting in July.

Seems to me the series could've ended after episode 46. Most loose ends were tied up.

SPOILER ALERT

With the exception of whether Ted Beneke is dead or just has a broken neck. And if Gus is really dead.

Ted: I don't know how they could be more clear that he has a broken neck.

Gus: Got turned into a skeleton.

How did you miss this?

ETA: Just realized you haven't seen all episodes. Catch up on coke and popcorn.

**Spoiler**

Gus was already dead. He's a zombie. That's what happened in Chile that they allude to in the show but never really talk about. He was abducted by aliens while fighting vampires, and they gave him that magical potion that turned him into a zombie with a wicked chicken recipe.

Not sure how that wasn't clear at the end of Season 4 though. Were you even paying attention?

That would have made the show so much better

c'mon bro. A ton of shite has happened and it begins with an eery foreshadowing that kind of dominates your thinking while watching all of the season 5 eps to date.

I actually hated how they had Gus come out, straighten his tie, and showed half his face missing.

Dude was in an explosion that ripped the wall of the room. Just show him on the ground. He can be gasping for breath there. The whole stylized death of Gus really took me out of the realism of the show.

That said, taken by itself, it was pretty cool.
