What percentage of onside kicks work?

Just curious what y'all think w/o googling it. My old man said 25% I said 10%.

Point of our argument/discussion was prob something discussed at here already today but I thought it was to early to do with 3 minutes left in the game even with the worst defense ever, u still need to give them a shot to make the stop.

With the new rule on onside kicks its probably more like 5%

I wanna say a good bit of those are surprise onsides. I would like to see the statistic for those that happen in the 4th quarter

I felt like we should k/o and try to stop 3 running plays. We put the them in FG range twice. And I guess that after JG's 15 yarder on the first one, no one told the team to keep their cool on the next one., That made me mad. I was in the tank for a pick group, but I did want us to win that one game because of Newton and Steve Smith. But 500 yards later....
