What instruments have you played/still play?

I played violin for 8 years,
piano for 2, and snare for 5. Other percussion as well, but mostly snare.
Listening to Guaraldi makes me wish I had stuck with piano.
None of these are like a bike. I can't just pick up where I left off. Not many instruments are for that matter.
ETA: I sang lead in a barbershop quartet for 4 years. Not sure if we're gonna count that.

I played trumpet for several years, but gave it up to pursue athletics more vigorously. I now play guitar, but only at home on the couch. I have some recording equipment, but I'm hesitant to spend the $ on Ableton.

I'm a couch guitarist too (10+ years). A few years ago I wanted a recording suite and ending up getting FL Studio. It's easy to use and comes with lifetime free updates which was the biggest selling point to me.

Trombone for 2 years. Still have it, I actually greased the slide a few weeks ago.
Guitar for 17 years. Play at minimum an hour a day. Own several guitars and amps. Even rebuilt a guitar and had a custom Dumble Amp clone built for me.
Also own a mandolin. Had it for 4 years. Fun to mess around with.
I dabble at the Piano, but would like to learn the Hammond B3 organ.
I wish I had more people to play with. I can jam. As for the trombone, I hope to play it again someday, more in a funky brass band type setting.
(I was never big into playing music in church. I don't like to mix my God and my rock n roll.)

I played the cello for one year in elementary school, but lugging it around on the bus got to be a big pain in the arse, so I switched to the trumpet, which I played for several years. I was 1st chair band and orchestra. I can still pick one up and play music, but my lips don't have that built up strength to play it well. I now sound like the Mayberry Marching Band on Andy Griffith.
I have dabbled with the guitar over the years, but I really suck at it, so it doesn't count.

I had it running on my old XP machine, but the processor just struggled with multi-tracking. The tracks would all start losing time-synch. Anyway, upgraded to a much better PC, but went up to Windows 7, which I don't have software for. That's pretty much my main thing right now, I need something that works with Windows 7 and a Firepod.
