Made turkey yesterday.

Lucy will have option of leftover turkey and really great stuffing...or she can have a chicken salad sammich.

This morning I went in to Starbucks at 8 am. Their adjusted opening. Everyone who normally goes from 6 to 8 was lined up at the door.

I picked out a yesterday's WSJ and sat in the comfy chair while a dozen morons tried to figure out what they wanted. The worst were the big fat ugly mom's with very small ugly kids who had never been to Starbucks and just wanted candy.

After a half hour I noticed the line was down to one so I got in line with my favorite barrista, Aerial.

Me: "Just a Quad"
Aerial: "Zach, just shoot me now."
Me: "It could be worse."
Aerial: "How so?"
Me: "You could be living under a bridge."
Aerial: "That would be better."

4pm sharp. Run in the morning, beer at noon, wine with dinner at 4 followed by pecan pie, strong coffee and the cowboys game. Life is good.

Hosted it and didn't sit down to eat until 1:30. My sister and her family arrived around 11:30 and I had some gouda, sharp cheddar, a pepperjack cheese ball, crackers, salami and grapes for them to snack on until dinner was ready.

I don't always appreciate the taste of the meal after all the work and prep. I will enjoy leftovers as a late supper.
