Texas was headed to Cotton, until this loss happened, i think it's LSU vs. Oklahoma State if Oklahoma State wins one of the next two games (OU or Baylor) if Oklahoma State wins both games, then it's Oklahoma State in Cotton, and Big 12 will only have one (Kansas State)

Cotton is prob where we land. Would have liked to have played UT. Okie St is fine too... They are tougher than their record indicates.

Records are irrelevant. The Cotton wants to be a primetime game with high interest.

Bowls don't look at the standings of teams in conferences anymore, they look at whatis the best matchup to get the most publicity. Texas vs. aTm is that matchup especially this year, since aTm just gave Texas and the Big12 the finger and left for the SEC. The most appealing matchup for the Cotton is Texas vs aTm.

Assuming LSU wins, they will be in the BCS if Florida loses. If Florida wins, then expect LSU to be in the Capital One or the Chik-Fil-A. The Outback never takes SECw teams.

A LSU/Michigan Capital One Bowl would get press, so if LSU is out of the BCS, look for that matchup to happen.

Here's my wish list
UGA loses to ga tech
Fsu demolishes UF
Usce beats Clemson
Nd loses to uscw
Texas beats KState
Auburn beats Bama (doesn't have to happen)
Oregon state beats Oregon
Lsu beats UGA or (UGA beats Bama)
Ga tech beats fsu
Stanford beats ucla
Lsu vs Stanford in MNC
The only caveat is how far nd would call. They may not fall far enough.

Doesn't matter really. LSU would rape Texas. I would prefer beating ND or Oregon again.

PS
I don't even know why K-State is even in the picture. They played in a crap conference.

wouldn't work in your scenario.

A 2-loss UGA SEC Champ that just beat Bama would pass LSU in place for the NC.

1-loss ND would still get in the NCG over 2-loss Stanford.

If everything you have on your list happens, then it's probably UGA vs ND for MNC.

we need AU to beat Bama, GT to beat UGA, and LSU to beat UGA in the SECCG.....if that were to happen with everything esle you said, then LSU would make the title game.

huge if though.

I've spent some time in oklahoma and oklahoma state hates LSU more than just about anyone except for OU. Those sissies hate us because Les Miles rebuilt that turd of a program.

It's a similar situation to us and Alabama... except LSU is not a rival of oklahoma state, but they are too dumb to understand it. So if any of you come to Dallas for the game, just beware.
