This is the first of 4 games in 6 days for the Hornets. All on the road. Most on the East Coast. This could be brutal.

Hornets have allowed 41 three-pointers past 3 games

Hornets hope to end 4-game skid tonight vs. Pacers

Davis likely out again.

quote:

The Hornets (3-6) are hoping for a turnaround when they face the Indiana Pacers (5-7) Wednesday night at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse. After the Pacers, the Hornets play the Phoenix Suns on Friday before facing Denver Nuggets on Sunday and Los Angeles Clippers this upcoming Monday.

The Hornets will likely have to play without having rookie forward Anthony Davis for the second consecutive game Wednesday night. He suffered a stress reaction in his left ankle during Monday’s practice. Davis said after last Saturday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks that he tweaked his left ankle in the game and experienced the same problem a night earlier against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first quarter.

Hornets: 93
Pacers: 88

We could really use a W. Our bigs need to stay out of foul trouble and we have to play some perimeter D. We also have to actually play in the 3rd quarter.

Us - 98
Them - 93

I like how we are doubling down on their bigs, causing them to turnover the ball. I also like how we are attacking their paint.

It's a good start. Good effort tonight.

Don't like seeing us leaving guys wide open from 3 again. Our defense still has some problems we need to iron out.

We are taking it to them in the paint which is nice, considering I wouldn't say that is a strength of this team.

Our bench losing ground for us, Monty not quick enough on changing the rotation.
