Good Luck buddy, I love Asheville, beautiful town but you are stuck in the heart of ACC country.

well - i figured that if there was anybody on here that lives in the area, then they would not be ACC fans...
I see some LSU license plate frames and bumper stickers and I saw a guy wearing an LSU hat the other day and gave him a "geaux tigers" - he looked around like he heard a ghost to your original point...

I lived there and think they are watching the game at Hickory Tavern in Biltmore.
Hope that works for you.

Finally found your thread. Sorry I missed it last week.
There is no viewing party this week, but next week, we'll be watching at my house. Check the Facebook page for directions next week. We're making gumbo and muffaletas. BYOB. If weather permits, we'll watch the game outdoors, so bring a lawn chair. I'm expecting 20 or so for the Auburn game. Last year for Bama, we had close 40. It depends on the game. Hope to see you there.
Any questions, email me (Doug) at dlgmayer@morrisbb.net.

I just forwarded this tread to a friend that just moved to the area. She's been looking for tiger fans in the area. Perfect timing.

I know there are plenty of Tiger fans in Asheville - having lived there for ten years. Mostly retirees. Great sports bar is Mitchell's on Merrimon (if still there; been gone from there 10 years).

We just moved to town about a month ago. Busy with home renovations right now but definitely would like to watch the game with fellow Tiger fans later this season. Will bookmark thread.

Meg Reilly lives in Asheville and is a huge LSU fan...Look for a big LSU fan outside her home...don't know if she's a beer drinker tho. She's a pro photographer originally from Baton Rouge...she's got a pro web page. Google her.
