It's like this. Pretend there is a small group of 8 guys or such that all know each other going back many months and years hanging at a bar, sitting all alone in a corner room talking. They are in their 30's and 40's. They are a small click and have a long connection with each other.

And in walks this hyper young new guy, who they do not know. And this kid, sits right down with them uninvited and begins to interrupt them at each and every turn... That is near like what happened with you in this thread.

The help board is for those needing help, but it is also kind of a secret Vip room for LSU Admins and LSU longtimers to hook up. And they were only being nice sending subtle hints to you to please go away, but you were not getting them. And because they were being so nice, they just did not explain this to your face.

Thus, Just apologize to them, say you meant no bad by it, which I am sure is the case, leave the help board, this thread, and chill in the SEC Rant or wherever. There are many unspoken rules on this site. You just have to spend enough time before you understand them. I am still learning them too so don't feel bad. Don't take it personal, but learn from it and move on. Just leave now and give them back their space bro.

But hey Rummy. This is your thread bro. And since I have your attention for a moment can I ask you a question?

You see, I have been plotting in my head for many months now to make a request to ask Chicken for a Pac-12 Rant Board. And well, I do not know Chicken, but you do well. And I was wondering what might my odds of success be in approaching him with this? You see, I actually have very detailed motives and many wonderful reasons and ideas.

I am not making such a pitch in this post just now, as I would desire to do it formally later on but I really do have it all figured out in my head and I bet I can make a incredibly good sales pitch why it would benefit this site, even financially to Chicken as well.(if you build it, they will come-and I can help that and know others that can too...) And well, if you must know, I want a PAC-12 Rant board so bad that I might even be willing to pay some money out of my own pocket for one, worse case maybe. But I do not want to waste my time in a future well crafted sales pitch and lobby attempt if someone close to him, like you, would already know I really have no chance in hell.

So what, iyo, what might my odds be if I did a future sales pitch to him with this? 90%, 50% 1%, none?

However, what makes you think I'm some high strung young guy? You may be wrong on that.

Regardless, I'll leave this thread to the "in" crowd - the cool kids. You're right...subtle hints don't work with me. If anything, they motivate me to continue posting the way I've always posted.
