There are some great vinyls being released today. Be sure to visit your local record store to show them some support.

ahhhh... vinyl....I just recently fixed and upgraded my old Rega Planar II . It had been about 20 yrs since I had been able to enjoy my records. There's just something about vinyl.

Thanks for the reminder. I believe there's 3 or 4 stores in NOLA participating. Gonna have to make the rounds and see what dey got.
I need a cover for a older model Technics. Anyone know where I can find one that might fit it?

About to walk into Waterloo records right now. Been here since 6:30 and I am about 25th person in line out of a few hundred.

Yep, I don't care if others can't hear it, there's a sound quality that digital just can't replicate.
While I was standing in line this morning, some guy in his '60s wearing a leather jacket and skinny jeans with a wallet chain walked out with two bags full of Record Store Day exclusives. Dude behind me said "we might as well fricking leave because he bought everything" as the guy walked by us.
Managed to pick up the "Spot the Pigeon" EP by Genesis and "At That Dangerous Age" 45 by Paul Weller, but everything else had been picked over. And I was in line before the place even opened.

I will never part with my vinyl collection...I did a count years ago and it exceeded 3500 albums...miss those days when you could spend hours in a record store on a Saturday morning...but the music was better too!
