I said this when Urban was hired at OSU and bucktards didnt believe me. Urban spent some time with Chip when he was working at ESPN and said he would use alot of Oregons style at his next coaching gig.

Im sure Meyer will play his style of ball but it obviously never hurts to adapt and try new things. And Oregon didnt invent the hurry up and spread offense, just sayin.

I hope we dont use gay arse boards...

Whenever someone copies from a team they don't respect...the obligatory:

1) You didn't invent it
2) We won't be gay like you.

Oregon's the fastest hurry-up I've ever seen TBH...in fact, it broke the mold from the traditional "no-huddle" hurry-up.

Yes, Oregon invented using little to no time between plays. Congrats

I never said that they invented it. The way Chip runs it is unique though. New formations every week, super-tempo, and the blocking schemes are different.

Here's chip and and urban doing a spread offense 101 on espn.

My point being that coaches go visit other programs all the time to help the game get better. And Meyer has been pretty adaptive as a coach in his career so I highly doubt he is modeling our offense solely after Oregon.

And I still hate those boards even when Thad Matta and the bucks bball team use them.

I think you'll see Urban run a faster version of his own system.

Urban tried to copy Oklahoma's uptempo offense in '09 and called it the "Bonzai" offense, and it sucked arse.

Yup.

Guess the coaching difference between 2008 and 2009? *Hint* He's at Miss State.

So it will go to pure dog shite when it faces a legit defense?

Unlike Oregon we have legit power backs and can line up in the I when needed.

We may not have a true powerback this year but we've had em in the past and they were succesful in the spread.(Jonathan Stewart and Legarrette Blount)
Thomas Tyner a RB committed to Oregon will be a power back with great speed.

They have been lining up in the I some this spring, have a great FB, and 2 legit power backs. So the option to run it up the gut will still be there.

I see Urby trying to pass more than Kelly, assuming a WR worth a shite steps up.

And I hope to Christ we don't do that gay sign thing.
