I'd like to see some March Madness games in the Supedome, regardless of who's playing. But I'm wondering if I should wait for prices to drop, or if now is the best time to grab tickets.

Right now, tickets are starting at $190 for the two semifinal games, $147 for just the championship game, and $319 for all three games via Stubhub.

I have a feeling ticket prices might fluctuate throughout the tournament depending on what teams get bounced. I'm not a big fan of looking for tickets outside of the game, since I like to have something guaranteed in advance.

What do you suggest for a fan on a budget?

Honestly, at the game. People by tickets on spec and most likely there team won't make it and there will be plenty for sale. This is definitely true of the championship game.

regardless of opinion, you should scalp a ticket for the title game. team loses, a lot of people wanna go home, cheap ticket. this wasn't exactly the case when i went in '07 and '08 since those were really legit finals with the best teams playing in them.

in '06 though, you get a ticket to the final for like $30. also, $319 for all three games really isnt bad and the weekend is awesome.

I can promise you, you can find tickets before any game for face value. the final may be more depending on the game, but the semi's go for face and under outside the arena.

that's my experience from two different final fours.

it all depends on match ups. ive been to 3 but 2 of them had amazing match ups and the prices were nuts. the other 1 had shitty match ups ('06, im looking at you LSU, but actually george mason) and the prices were fantastic. so there's a risk in waiting until gamedays but it's more likely that the match ups will be shitty and prices pretty affordable.

I think the only way you can profit from buying and selling a finals ticket is if Kentucky makes it. Those guys travel like no team i've ever seen.

I bought 8 ticket books (for all three games) .. I planned on using two and making some cash on the rest. Sounds like I am going to be out of luck

Great prices. What section of the dome? I've seen much higher, but i'm assuming much closer...

Prices on StubHub are $188 for the two semifinal games, $153 for the championship game, and $344 for all three games.

These tickets are a mix of Terrace Corner and Terrace End.

Do you guys suggest I make the purchase right now? Or should I gamble, and wait to see if they drop as the tournament progresses?

Hard to answer.

I bought mine already. But I have family coming from California and NY State to go with me, so I paid extra for the security of having tickets in hand. Plus I bought Club level seats, so they were more.

I say wait a bit longer. From what I read prices come down more toward the "average price" in March. Premium seats will always have premium prices. But if you are looking at Terrace, those should always be available. I wouldn't expect StubHub sellers to go less than face value tho. Those deals will be found on the street.
