2012 QB situation

I'm still trying to understand how the LSU QB situation will work or if one will leave even though they're spread out over 3 years for 2012: Jr.- Zach Mettenberger (Jr. college star when not in jail); Soph.-Stephen Rivers (brother of SD's Philip); and Fr. sensation to be, Gunner Kiel, one of the top HS prospects in the nation. I also wonder if The Mad Hatter will still have all of them running the option into eternity......

I think Rivers will be a RSFR next season, not that it matters....
Mett will take the reigns. I would assume that Kiel would push to be the guy after Mett leaves

Mett will start. Rivers will be the backup and Kiel will be 3rd string. Randall will switch positions. That is how I think it plays out.

The question isn't what the QB depth chart will look like.
The question is whether Miles will run an offense that fits with Mett's talents. I find it hard to believe, yet I hold out hope.

Should be:
1. Mettenberger (Jr.)
2. Rivers (RS Freshman)
3. Randall (RS Freshman)
4. Keil (Freshman)
2-4 are interchangeable.
