Tough loss for the Tigers tonight. But in a night when Trent sited our 16 turnovers as one of the reasons we lost, Chris Bass had a team leading 4 assists with no turnovers in 13 minutes of play. Add 1-1 field goals, 1 steal and 2 rebounds and Chris played solid and well. Just a shoutout to a guy who has gotten no respect on this board but who has worked hard and gotten better.

Having a dribble penetration guard with the two big men have helped a lot. Makes opposing bigs have to respect those players and not completely collapse on Bass.

I definitely used to hate him, but I gotta give him props. He has been playing well and I'm glad he's here, he's a good mentor to have.

You are exactly right. He received a great deal of warranted criticism, now he deserves to be recognized for his improvement. Great job of a kid working to get better and seeing some positive results.

I stand by my thoughts pre-season, I think he should start. Our offense is better with him in. He protects the ball and is great at penetration.

He has even stepped up on his shooting.

People dont realize he has led the team and the SEC in assists/turnover ratio the past 2 years. His big knock is he can't shoot.
