I've been putting off buying a new comp cause the crappy games I've been playing don't require more than I currently have. But it can't handle SWTOR so I guess I gotta upgrade now.

This is what their website recommends...
Processor
* AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core 4000+
*Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 ghz

Ram
2 gb

Video
* ATI x1800 +
* NVidia 7800 +
*INtel 4100 integrated graphics

Now the questions I have, for starters, is when I go to bestbuy.com not a single computer even says Athlon 64 X2. I see Athlon II X2.

Whats a Athlon 64 x2? Is an Athlon II x2 better?
What about an "A" series? "E" series? Are those better than an Athlon II x2?

Heres what I'm looking at...
LINK

I'm assuming this is much better than the requirements. 8gb ram should be much better than my current 3. The video card looks like it might be nice.

Isn't video card and ram the most important things for gaming???

It's on sale for 399.... WTF?

Any advice is appreciated.

I took a look at the tower you linked, it looks like some sort of upgraded mobile processor stuck in a desktop. The GPU appears to be integrated? That is usually bad news for gaming requirements.
