If you install the game does that mean you don't need the disk anymore? So if I wanted to keep NHL 12 i could install it but still trade it in? That can't be right

No, it only installs certain info to make load times faster and make the game run smoother without working your Xbox to death.

I would sometimes have loading problems getting into game on BLOPS, to the point where it was just cycle and cycle and eventually kick me out. When I loaded the game to my hard drive, I was usually the first one to enter the game. But you have to have the disc.

Has anyone installed BF3? Just curious how it works since there's two disks.

I installed the multiplayer disk. It just speeds up co-op and multiplayer loading times and whatnot.
