Ford wide is our best play all season!

Running the ball up the gut has gotten us this far, but if Ford gets 20 carries outside where his speed and vision can be used, he gets 100 on anybody easy, then the defense bits, and the deep ball opens up on the play fake.

It has been a great play, but it is also set up by the fact that we pound the ball on the inside. Les has been masterful at using his backs this year.

Ford is our fastest back, and by far, has the best vision. I like Ware, but against Bama, Ford was the answer, and we should have used him more. Ford isn't the most complete back, but he's the best with the ball in his hands.
