Only one photographer was able to capture how Obama arrived to assess the disaster...

Once he arrived, he got to work with the cleanup....

What is the reason behind the "burn" I see in most of your pictures?

Just my watermark I use on here and on the Sooner FARKs site. Related to my real name.

I should probably come up with a watermark image instead.

Not only that, but if you use Photoshop - add a "digital watermark" into the image itself (You can probably do this in GIMP as well - I just don't know how).

Sometimes I do this while the image is still in layers, sometimes I wait until merged... but ALWAYS before it is saved as a JPG or GIF etc... Go to the File menu drop-down and click on File Info...

You should be able to embed your copyright status info (I usually just have mine "ask permission before use").

I also like to fill out the following:
Image Title
Name/Screen Name
Creation Date (if different from upload date)
Keywords (helpful to see if the image is being used elsewhere when searching)
Description

If you do this and upload your image on Imageshack - this info will be displayed when you hit the button for "Digicam Data" under "Image Info" for each.

This image's info...

...comes up looking like this.

I think there's a plug-in for Firefox that lets you see image details - I'll post it in a minute if I find it.
